## Wholesale broadband

### Which access networks does Netavo offer wholesale broadband from?

Netavo offers wholesale broadband from Openreach, CityFibre, KCOM and MS3.

### How is wholesale broadband handed over?

Netavo hands broadband sessions to an ISP's own network over L2TP, so the ISP authenticates and addresses its own subscribers. Alternatively Netavo terminates the subscribers for the ISP on Netavo's own BNG.

### Can Netavo terminate our subscribers for us?

Yes. With managed subscriber termination, your subscribers are terminated, authenticated and addressed on Netavo's own BNG, while the customer, the brand and the price remain yours.

### Can we sell broadband under our own brand?

Yes. Netavo provides white-label broadband, in which your customers see your name and Netavo runs the service behind it.

### Can we order broadband through an API?

Yes. Availability checks, ordering and line diagnostics are available through the partner portal and the public API.

## Transit, backhaul and addressing

### Where does Netavo hand over transit and backhaul?

Netavo offers handover at Telehouse North and Telehouse East in London, and at Pulsant Manchester.

### What port speeds does Netavo offer?

Netavo offers 1G, 10G and 100G ports for transit and handover.

### Does Netavo provide IPv6 transit?

Yes. Netavo provides IP transit over both IPv4 and IPv6, with BGP routing.

### Can Netavo provide IP addresses for our subscribers?

Yes. Netavo provides IPv4 and IPv6 address space to ISPs that have none of their own.

### Does Netavo provide backhaul for altnets and wireless ISPs?

Yes. Netavo carries traffic from exchanges and access networks to an operator's core, and between its own sites and datacentres.

### What network does Netavo operate?

Netavo operates AS208802. It is a member of LINX, peering on LON1 and LON2 with an open peering policy, and a member of the RIPE NCC.

## Netavo BNG

### What is Netavo BNG?

Netavo BNG is carrier-grade broadband network gateway and CGNAT software for standard x86 servers. It terminates PPPoE, IPoE and L2TP subscribers and includes a full provider-edge routing stack.

### How many subscribers can Netavo BNG terminate?

Netavo BNG terminates up to 100,000 subscriber sessions per box.

### Is CGNAT a separate licence?

No. CGNAT is included in every Netavo BNG licence, with NAT44 and port-block logging.

### Does Netavo use Netavo BNG itself?

Yes. Netavo BNG carries production traffic on Netavo's own network, terminating live wholesale L2TP on the same software releases shipped to customers.

### Can we try Netavo BNG before buying?

Yes. A free evaluation for up to 50 subscribers is available at netavobng.com, and the evaluation build is the production build.
