Privacy notice
How Netavo Global Data Services Ltd handles personal information collected through this website.
Last updated: 7 October 2026
Who we are
This website, netavo.com, is operated by Netavo Global Data Services Ltd (“Netavo”, “we”, “us”), company number 11798207. For the information described in this notice, Netavo is the data controller.
This notice covers this website only. If you use Netavo's partner portal or applications, the partner portal privacy policy applies to those services.
What we collect
When you send us an enquiry. The form on our Work with us page asks for your name, your company, your email address, a description of your project and, if you choose to give it, your telephone number. It also records whether you have asked to receive occasional updates from us.
When you visit the site. Our web server records standard technical information about each request, including your IP address, the page requested, and the browser and device used. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, which collects information such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, and the general location of your device, derived from your IP address.
We do not ask for, and do not want, any sensitive personal information through this website.
Cookies
This website uses a small number of cookies:
- A security cookie, set when the enquiry form is shown. It protects the form against forged submissions and is necessary for the form to work.
- Google Analytics cookies, which distinguish one visitor from another so that we can measure how the site is used. They do not tell us who you are.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the Google Analytics cookies does not affect your use of the site. Google also publishes a browser add-on that prevents Google Analytics from collecting data on any website.
The site also loads its typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry, and to keep a record of our correspondence with you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who have asked us to contact them.
- To send you occasional updates about our services, but only if you ticked the box asking for them. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by telling us or by using the link in any update.
- To keep the site secure and working, for example by limiting repeated form submissions from one address. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the site.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining an effective website.
We do not use your information for automated decisions, and we do not sell it.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry is stored in our customer relationship management system and is seen by the Netavo staff who deal with enquiries. We share personal information only with service providers that process it on our behalf:
- Microsoft Azure, which hosts this website and the systems that hold your enquiry.
- Google, which provides Google Analytics and Google Fonts.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Where it is held
Our own systems are hosted in the United Kingdom and the European Union. Google may process analytics information in the United States or other countries. Where personal information is transferred outside the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or the United Kingdom International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: for 12 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer, in which case the information becomes part of our records of that relationship.
- Requests for updates: until you ask us to stop.
- Web server records: for a short period, for security and troubleshooting.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your rights
Under data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our using it;
- ask for your information in a portable form;
- withdraw any consent you have given.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@netavo.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
