Hospitality & Food Service

Netavo provides site connectivity, private networking, mobile data and cloud voice for UK hospitality and food service businesses. We connect the systems used for payments, bookings and connected equipment, for individual venues and estates.

What the sector requires

Payments, reservations and online ordering place connectivity in the trading path. Guest internet access adds demand alongside operational systems, while calls still need to reach reception or the appropriate team during busy service periods and outside opening hours.

Refrigeration, dispense and vending equipment may report to a supplier's central system independently of the venue's own applications. The connection and destination for those devices need to be understood separately from guest access. Across an estate, access availability differs by address and migrations need to fit around trading hours.

  • Trading continuityA second connection for essential systems
  • Connected equipmentA defined route to the supplier's systems
  • Estate consistencyA common network design across different access types
  • Customer callsRouting agreed for service hours and closed periods

Connecting venues and their equipment

The fixed connection serves the site. Access is selected around what is available at the address and the capacity needed by its applications. Mobile failover provides a second path, while private networking can link the venue to central business systems. Connectivity is available directly from Netavo or delivered for a partner.

Device traffic can take a private route. Equipment SIMs can be grouped on a private network with addressing and routing agreed for the estate. Devices can reach central systems without requiring a public address of their own. Netavo supplies the connectivity; refrigeration monitoring, payment applications and other operational systems remain with their respective providers.

A typical engagement

A typical engagement covers a group of venues with different fixed connections and connected equipment suppliers. We agree a site design with the operator or partner, covering primary access, mobile failover and the route for equipment data. Migrations are scheduled to suit each venue, with telephony routing and number moves planned alongside the connection changes. Further openings use the same design principles after access availability at the new address is confirmed.
