Retail & Multi-site Estates
Netavo provides connectivity, private WAN, mobile data and cloud voice for UK retail and multi-site estates. We connect branches and head offices on a common network design, selecting access for each address and providing a second path where the business needs it.
What the sector requires
Branch connectivity carries payment transactions, stock enquiries and access to central business applications. An interruption can affect several parts of the trading operation at once. The design needs to identify which systems depend on the connection and how they will use a second path.
Estates also change as sites open, relocate or refit. Access technology and capacity can vary between addresses, while central IT teams need consistent routing and visibility of circuit faults. Installation and migration must account for local trading hours and the staff available at each branch.

How we support it
A combination of access types can serve one private estate network.
| Requirement | How we meet it |
|---|---|
| Access across different branch locations | Fibre and Ethernet delivered across the UK's major access networks |
| Dedicated capacity for central sites | Ethernet access selected around the site's bandwidth requirement |
| A private estate network | Private routing between branches and head office on our own core network |
| A second path for trading systems | Mobile failover available alongside each fixed access type |
| Connectivity during temporary occupation | Mobile data for temporary sites, with addressing agreed for the application |
| Connected retail equipment | Multi-network SIMs with private routes to central systems |
| Circuit fault visibility | Continuous monitoring of latency and loss with proactive fault management |
| Branch and head office telephony | Hosted telephony with number porting, ring groups and time-of-day routing |
| Using existing site equipment | Connectivity delivered to your own equipment with the service design agreed in advance |
Building a consistent estate network
Establish each site's requirement
Confirm the addresses, applications and central systems involved. We establish available access and agree capacity, private routing and mobile failover requirements.
Plan the branch migrations
Managed ordering and installation follow the agreed design. Migration is scheduled to suit each site, with any number porting planned around business hours.
Operate and extend
Circuits are monitored continuously. Further sites can use the same design principles, with access and capacity selected for each new address.
A typical engagement
A typical engagement begins with a retailer bringing branches with separate connections onto a common network. We review the site list with the operator or its IT partner, establish available access and agree how branches will reach central systems. Sites move in phases around trading requirements, with mobile failover included where required. The resulting estate combines different access technologies with consistent private routing and continuous circuit monitoring.
The service can be ordered directly from Netavo or delivered for a partner responsible for the wider branch environment. Payment systems, stock applications and in-store equipment remain with the operator and its chosen suppliers.
