Fire & Security

Netavo provides managed alarm signalling for fire and intruder systems across the UK, through Signal Dynamic, and the connectivity that protected sites depend on. The Signal Dynamic Supervisor replaces signalling that relied on a copper line with up to four paths, each verified continuously.

Signalling after the copper line

The withdrawal of the copper telephone network, and of the signalling services built on it, has left installers and alarm receiving centres needing a replacement that is at least as dependable as the service it succeeds.

Signal Dynamic is Netavo's answer: a managed alarm signalling platform for intruder and fire systems, launched in 2024 and developed with alarm receiving centres and installers. A Supervisor unit at the protected premises sends signals over as many as four paths to a private network, which delivers them to the alarm receiving centre.

How a signal reaches the alarm receiving centre

The Supervisor checks every path about every thirty seconds, so a path that has failed is reported before it is needed.

What we provide for the sector

Alarm signalling is the centre of it. The connectivity around a protected site comes from the same provider.

Requirement How we meet it
Intruder alarm signalling The Signal Dynamic Supervisor, designed to single-path and dual-path categories
Fire alarm signalling The same unit and network, for fire detection and alarm systems
Replacing signalling that used a copper line A planned migration, with every path proven before the old line is ceased
Delivery to the alarm receiving centre A private network, connected to the centre's existing alarm management system
CCTV and remote sites Fibre and Ethernet access, and multi-network SIMs with private addressing
Resilience for the site connection Mobile failover alongside fixed access

Two audiences, one platform

Signal Dynamic is supplied to installers by accredited partner alarm receiving centres, usually together with their monitoring service. Installers fit and commission the Supervisor and have direct access to our technical support. Alarm receiving centres connect to the Signal Dynamic network once and can then receive signals from every site their installers protect.
